People can say this book is bad, but they MUST be lying lmaooo. 😭
I genuinely cannot explain how much I love this book. I know it’s slower and not everyone loves that, but I was completely obsessed with Addie’s story. There was just something about following her through all those years, knowing that she could meet thousands of people but the second she left their sight they would forget she ever existed, that absolutely GOT ME.
And THIS QUOTE???
“...it is sad, of course, to forget.
But it is a lonely thing, to be forgotten.
To remember when no one else does.”

One of my favorite things about this book is that every little thing feels like it has a purpose. There were moments where I didn’t even realize something was important, and then later it would come back and suddenly everything made sense. Somehow all these tiny details and pieces of Addie’s life come together, and I LOVE books that do that.
And then Henry remembering her??? After spending so long watching Addie live in a world where nobody could remember her, finally having ONE PERSON look at her and actually remember who she was was everything. I was so invested in their relationship because of that.
AND THE ENDING!!!!
They came all of this way for it to end like that like please no.
Five stars isn't enough.
