This books had a lot of potential to be a great book, but for me personally a lot of things just didn't click for me.
I just feel like why are we letting a literal teen guard the prince when he's in so much danger. Sure, I understand she's super trained and all of this but still.
And for punishment were sending her to protect the prince when she's already known for being.
"Impulsive," or "reckless."
It just doesn't make sense to me, I'm sure we can find someone so much better than her.
Also,
when she gets to the palace why is she finding all these blind spots and a window unlocked?
Please a queen and king live here, why are you telling me the windows are unlocked and there are barley no cameras.

If it says it's a teen book why is there swearing literally every page.

The last point is why was there a who did this to you scene as soon as they met??
Sure, they knew each other as kids but I'm not even 100 pages in.

I'm sure with more research and thought it could be a great book, but what we have right now isn't working for me.
