Powerless, Lauren Roberts

I'm so sorry, I wanted to love this book so badly. I was 250ish pages through, and I was in love, okay?
This book is clarified as slow burn and enemies to lovers.

First, the slow burn is not slow burn at all. They're cuddling by page 260. If it says slow burn, they need to brush hands near the end, and for the kiss, it should be by the 2nd or 3rd book.

Second, enemies to lovers.
This was not enemies to lovers it was more of a flirting thing, like when you were younger, they would say a boy likes you if they were mean. That's what they were doing the whole book.

Also, the copyright issues I read Hunger Games and Red Queen and some things did bother me and others didn't. I didn't like the whole dance scene like you could've come up with something more interesting, and that's not slow burn.

It also sucks that I was so into the book before it went down that I purchased the novella after powerless. I was so excited that I removed the tag, so I can't return it.

I'm sorry to everyone who loves this book, it's not for me.
