When I first bought this book, I thought I would love it, but I didn't. I don't know, I just think it was the whole marriage part that got me. Also, I'm not someone who likes spice in her books, so I ended up skipping those scenes.

But I think it's so weird that he's saying, "I'll marry you," so soon after they meet. It just cringed me out. And I know romance books aren't realistic, but this book is like a 0.0001% chance of actually happening.

Also, how attached to him were you?? Because why are you mad that he said he would come see you and then never did, and you still came back every year? Like, I feel like I wouldn't be that mad. This happened when you were FIVE, for heaven's sake.

I just hate the whole idea of the marriage. You JUST saw him again, and now you're going to marry him?? Like, this is immaturity at its peak, we know this is a teen book.
